Christian Walker hits a pair of home runs vs. Rangers

Arizona Diamondbacks first baseman Christian Walker had a big night at the plate on Wednesday, hitting a pair of home runs to power the Diamondbacks to a 5-3 victory over the Texas Rangers.

Walker's first home run came in the third inning off of Rangers starter Dane Dunning. He hit a 1-1 curveball 412 feet to left-center field for a solo home run, giving the Diamondbacks an early 1-0 lead.

Walker's second home run came in the fifth inning off of Rangers reliever Brett Martin. He hit a 1-0 sinker 390 feet to right field for a two-run home run, giving the Diamondbacks a 4-1 lead.

Walker's two home runs give him 13 on the season, which is tied for the most in the National League. He is now batting .289 with a .919 OPS.

The Diamondbacks have now won three straight games and are 10-5 in their last 15.
