Edit Sender Name in Amazon SES
Introduction
Amazon Simple Email Service (SES) allows you to send emails from your own domain.
When you send an email using SES, you can specify the sender name, also known as the friendly name. This name will be displayed to the recipient in their email client.
Requirements
Before you can send an email using Amazon SES, you must create and verify each identity that you're going to use.
Setting the Sender Name
You can set the sender name using the following steps:
- Open the Amazon SES console.
- In the left navigation pane, click "Email Addresses".
- Click on the email address that you want to modify.
- Under "Sender Information", enter the desired sender name in the "Friendly From Name" field.
- Click "Save Changes".
Using Non-ASCII Characters
The sender name can also contain non-ASCII characters.
To use non-ASCII characters, you must first encode them using the Punycode encoding system.
Using a Plus Sign
You can also add a label to an email address by adding a plus sign (+) between the account name and the at sign (@), followed by the label.
For example, the following email address has the label "newsletter":
``` username+newsletter@example.com ```Additional Information
